TALES FROM THE BUSH IN QUEBEC
58WHAT??
I think I've landed in here by accident. I was trying to set up my first Hub-page, and just followed the arrows then - whoops! - it's telling me that I need to edit or publish some text. What?? But I have no text ready! So I tried the 'Save Unpublished' thingy, because I liked the layout, the picture, etc.. It brought me back to 'Publish'.
Insistent, aren't they? Seeing that I am such an obedient soul, I start hitting the keyboard. And this is what you get, if you are an unfortunate reader who lands on this page. The only thing it proves is that the person writing it is hopeless when it comes to the intricacies of computers with the uploads, downloads, capsules and other foreign objects appearing on the screen.
Let's see....what else did the Hub-masters say? Oh yeah - my content must reflect the tags. My tags are home, family (I think) and animals. Can those tags be changed on each post, I wonder? Or is my Hub destined to forever discuss those three topics? Only time will tell, unless a reader can be so kind?
I can do the tags some justice right now, seeing as I've already stumbled in here. My home is situated in the mountains of that lively and controversial province of Quebec, Canada. I live in the bush, with very few neighbours. Obviously the third tag, my love for animals, is an important part of choosing my residence. Anyone who does NOT love animals would not be happy here. In fact, some of my visitors wonder if I even like people.
My second tag, family, is no contest. My mom had offspring with three different partners, my dad with two. They produced many half-siblings with very different characters. I contributed to the world population by producing three great children, who in turn provided me with five (and still counting) grandchildren. However, alot of my family's antics will not be published here. I don't want to risk being tarred and feathered - an action of which they are quite capable and, I believe, quite willing on those occasions they do not find any humour being the stars my funny stories.
Enough for this post. Now, can anyone tell me how the spell-checker works? I tried it, but all it did was highlight everything in here. Spelling was never my strength, so I find it hard to believe there is not one correction to be made...but the whole post? Nope. I don't believe that neither.
I'm now going to click on 'Publish', keep my fingers crossed, and sneak away to create a brilliant post for my next time in here. Or maybe an apology....

Hi Adnohr, very nice hub. one thing about spell checker is that there are so many different ways to spell that its can be hard to figure out which one is the right one LOL
Have a nice Christmas :)
